Victor Boniface, the Bayer Leverkusen and Super Eagles striker, could be on the move to Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer 2024 transfer window.
The 22-year-old has been one of the shining lights in Leverkusen’s remarkable start to the new European football season.
Boniface, who just arrived from Union SG in the summer, has been an instant hit for Xabi Alonso’s side and has already started making his mark in all competitions for them.
While at Royale, he scored 17 goals and provided 12 assists in 51 appearances across all competitions.

According to reports, Carlo Ancelotti has been touted to leave the Real Madrid job next summer and become the head coach of Brazil’s national team.
In a bid not to be caught off guard, the hierarchy of the team have a potential replacement in the wings, and he is a former Madrista.
It is none other than a coach who has been doing an incredible job since he arrived at Bayern Leverkusen, Alonso, who took the team last season from the relegation positions and led them to qualify for the Europa League this season.
It is believed that Alonso would ask for the signing of his current star striker Victor Boniface, but it depends on what happens with Kylian Mbappé.

Real Madrid have made strong offers to get Mbappe and it appears that the French skipper could even move to the Spanish capital in the summer of 2024, but nothing is cast in stone yet.
Whether Madrid will come for him depends on the club president, Florentino Pérez, who remains committed to Mbappé playing for the Whites starting next season.
Suppose Alonso becomes the next manager of the capital club and Mbappe decides to move to Santiago Bernabeu.
In that case, there is a possibility that attention might be turned to Victor Boniface.
Leverkusen's start in the Bundesliga has been impressive. They currently lead Bayern Mùnich by two points, and their football is a delight to watch.
If they keep up with this form alongside Boniface, things might be great for them in the summer.

In 13 matches across all competitions, Boniface has scored 10 goals and provided four assists for Leverkusen this season.
He was explosive with Union last season in the Europa League and won the Europa League Golden Boot award for the 2022-23 campaign. He then moved to the German Bundesliga in a transfer worth €20m plus add-ons.
Boniface’s exploits did not go unnoticed by Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro, as he handed a call-up to the 22-year-old for his debut with the national team.
The forward made an assist on his competitive debut – AFCON Qualifiers – against Sao Tome & Principe in Uyo before playing a huge role in the draw against Saudi Arabia in Portugal last month.
