Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has been nominated for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award for October.
Boniface grabbed his 10th goal of the season in Bayer Leverkusen's 3-0 win over Cologne to kick off the month before assisting Jeremie Frimpong's opener in the subsequent 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg.
The 22-year-old's contribution helped his side to a perfect Bundesliga record last month as Xabi Alonso's men continue to lead the way at the top of league standings after the first 10 rounds of matches.

Having won the Rookie of the Month award for August and September, Victor Boniface is looking to pick up the award for the third time in as many months since his move to German football.
In keeping with his heroics from October, Boniface has also established himself as an early frontrunner for the November award thanks to his display in Leverkusen's most recent involvement against Hoffenheim where he supplied two assists.

The 22-year-old failed to register any direct goal contribution in his first two league matches of the month but racked up two assists in his final outing en route to his side's 6-0 win over Cologne.
Nineteen-year-old Bajan Gruda is the final nominee for the Rookie of the Month award for October as he grabbed his first-ever Bundesliga goal in a 2-2 draw against Borussia Monchengladbach, before registering his first assist in a 3-1 defeat to reigning champions Bayern Munich.
