After being unveiled on Thursday by the Turkish Lig 1 side, Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa now knows how much his salary will be playing for Fatih Karagumruk.
Having undergone medical with the Ataturk Olympic Stadium outfit, Ahmed Musa will earn a staggering ₦1.02 billion ($2.5m) annually at the club as well as a weekly pay of $40,000, with bonuses, according to Sports Drill.
Same report also reveals that Musa will earn financial incentives too if the club qualified for European competitions and if he ended up as their highest scorer at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old attacker spent about four months with NPFL’s Kano Pillars before sealing a two-year deal with the Turkish League side with an option to extend the deal for another year.
Musa has now joined up with his new teammates in preparation for the coming 2021-22 Super Lig season as he hopes to revive his football career.

Karagumruk were promoted to the Turkish topflight in the 2019/2020 campaign, ending a 35-year wait for a return to the Super Lig, and want to remain there, which necessitated the signing of the former Premier League attacker.
