Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been told by Arsenal to stop training with the first team following his social media outcry about his proposed move to Everton that was blocked by the club.
News broke on Sunday that The Toffees have made a season-long loan offer with an option to buy for the 24-year old which the Gunners have not accepted till now.
This has left the player frustrated and annoyed, thus taking to Instagram to express his displeasure.
“All I wanna do is go where I'm wanted and where I'm gonna play.” he wrote, accompanied by three crying faces.
According to reports from a number of media outlets in England, the club is angry that Maitland-Niles took the situation public and he has been told to stay away from first-team training.
It's unclear what the club intends to achieve by banning Maitland-Niles from training but it would be logical for both parties to go their separate ways.
However, Maitland-Niles who have become surplus to requirements since the arrival of Mikel Arteta at the club, remains hopeful of being allowed to leave the club before the transfer window closes as plans to inform Arteta of his desire to leave in a meeting on Tuesday morning.
