As the summer approaches, two names may now be struck off the Arsenal transfer targets list of players and they are Ander Herrera and David Luiz.
David Luiz has announced that he has signed a two-year extension with Chelsea, ending speculation around his future that had seen him linked, on and off, with a move across London to the Emirates.

Ander Herrera announced that he will be leaving Manchester United this summer on a free transfer.
While there has been no confirmation of his destination, it is likely that he will sign for Paris Saint-Germain.
The Gunners are interested in signing him but they would have to contend with an absurd wage offer to turn his head and that seems very dodgy given the state of things at the club at present.
Given Herrera’s confirmation that he will be leaving Old Trafford, we can no doubt be expecting his destination to be revealed sooner rather than later.

While it’s not 100% sure he won’t end up at the Emirates, I could say it’s about 98% certain at this point.
