Mikel Arteta has said “there will be consequences” for the Arsenal source who leaked a training pitch spat between David Luiz and Dani Ceballos during the international break.
Speaking in the pre-match press conference, the Gunners’ boss said: “I don’t like the fact that that incident comes out at all.
“I will find out where it is coming from and if that is the case, that goes completely against what I expect from each other, the privacy and the confidentiality that we need, and there will be consequences.”
The Gunners boss went on to give his take of the alleged incident as the players trained away from their countries in the latest international break.
He added: “Training is very competitive and issues happen a lot of times. Those things get resolved immediately within the team and there is not much to say.
“There is no problem at all.”
Ceballos has denied the reports on Thursday night, quote tweeting The Athletic journalist David Ornstein’s post about the story as “FAKE”.
