Barcelona star Lionel Messi will go up against long-term rival Cristiano Ronaldo in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
But, despite qualification for the knockout stages already being in the bag, Ronald Koeman is under pressure.
Messi has been misfiring this season and, with the Catalan giants already through to the round of 16, some have speculated he’ll be on the bench for the match with Juventus on Tuesday night.
However, Mundo Deportivo claim the Argentina international will ‘not be deprived’ of the chance to go up against Ronaldo, who has scored twice from three appearances in the competition this season.
And that means fans should be set for a fascinating showdown between the two players.
Ronaldo, 35, has scored 75 times and counting for Juventus since moving in 2018 and has also registered 102 at international level with Portugal.
