Manchester United were dealt an embarrassing blow in the Champions League after a 2-1 defeat to Istanbul Basaksehir with former Chelsea striker Demba Ba on the scoresheet.
And Bruno Fernandes has given his verdict on his side’s shock defeat on Wednesday night.
It is a further blow to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was desperate to see the Red Devils react to their weekend beating from Arsenal.
Now the pressure is ramping up on the Norweigan, with this weekend vital.
United take on Everton this weekend in a must-win match for the Red Devils boss.
And Fernandes has insisted that their minds are already on Sunday's clash – though the defeat to Istanbul Basaksehir has rankled the dressing room.
“After two defeats it’s hard to think or say something about this,” he said.
“But we need to look one week ago everyone said we’re going well and doing amazing games.
“We won against Newcastle, PSG, we beat Leipzig and we drew against Chelsea, but the points we have in the league is not the points we want.
“Today was important to win to be comfortable in the table.
“But now it’s the same, we need to go for every game to try and win and it will not be different now in the Champions League, we’re in a good position.
“In the league we're not in a good position, we need to do much better and we need to do something in the next game.”
The visitors had all gone up for a corner while the ball was cleared, leaving the former Chelsea striker to simply run the length of the field and slot past Dean Henderson.
“Today was a bad game, everything went wrong, we did everything wrong. They found a goal early and after that the game was complicated for us,” said Fernandes.
“I think we can do much better, everyone feels that. We know we can’t concede goals like that, but now it’s time to look at what we did wrong and make it better in the next game.
“Of course, when you score a goal and you go 2-1 before the end of the first half you go to the break with a little more confidence and when we came out in the second half we tried.

“We didn’t create a lot of chances, but we had the ball, we tried to play and create the spaces but they defended well. It was hard for us.”
