Chelsea and Liverpool are tracking Lilian Thuram son Khephren, according to a report in England.

According to the Daily Mail, the two Premier League clubs are interested in the AS Monaco youth prospect.

The same report states that Khephren hasn't signed a professional contract with the Ligue 1 side to leave the door ajar for potential suitors.

The Daily Mail also claim that Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC will be facing stiff competition for the 17-year-old's signature.

His father's former club Juventus are keeping tabs on the AS Monaco starlet ahead of a bargain move for the French talent in the summer.

Khephren scored a brilliant goal for AS Monaco in a 3-1 win over Chelsea in the UEFA Youth League last week.

The same source go on to add that Thurham senior hasn't committed his son to a professional contract at AS Monaco in order to keep their options open.

The former Juventus star was ranked as one of Europe's best defenders during his spell in Turin.

He was a member of France's World Cup-winning squad in 1998 and scored twice in their 2-1 win over Croatia in the semi-final.
