Chelsea Football Club have sent birthday greetings to club legend, John Obi Mikel, who is celebrating his birthday today.
Mikel was born on April 22, 1987, in Jos which means he is celebrating his 32nd birthday on one of the most important days in the Christian calendar, Easter Monday.

Chelsea posted on their Twitter handle, ”Have a great birthday @Mikel_John_Obi!”, along with a 31-second video clip, highlighting his achievement and the goals he scored during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Signed from Lyn Oslo in 2006 after a bitter transfer dispute involving Manchester United, the defensive midfielder went on to make 372 appearances for the Blues before joining Chinese Super League club Tianjin Teda in January 2017.
The titles Mikel has won include the Premier League (twice), the FA Cup (four times), the League Cup (twice), and the Champions League and Europa League while at Chelsea.
