Confirmed: Time And TV Channels For SEagles’ Friendly Vs Algeria

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will today (Friday) take on Algeria in the first of two friendly games planned for this international break.

Gernot Rohr and his men are yet to play in 2020 due to COVID-19 interrupting football schedules.

With new dates for their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers confirmed, the German tactician will be using the matches against Algeria and Tunisia to prepare his squad.

Nigeria and the Desert Foxes have met several times in the past, the latest being the semi-final of the 2019 AFCON.

The North Africans took advantage of a last-minute Riyad Mahrez free-kick to see off the Super Eagles.

Although the 2-1 final defeat suggests it was a close contest, the Algerians were a class apart and Rohr will be keen to show how much they have closed the gap.
