Cristiano Ronaldo has made his first-ever appearance for Juventus in his typical No.7 jersey this afternoon – and it took him just eight minutes to open his account in Italian football.
The global superstar decided to depart Real Madrid earlier this summer after a trophy-laden decade in the Spanish capital, with Juve forking out around £90 million for his signature.
But despite being 33 now, it looks like the mammoth fee will be money well spent, as the Portuguese legend showed his new supporters earlier today.
The Serie A giants played in their traditional friendly against the club’s B-team in Turin, and with a certain No.7 starting as the only striker, we didn’t have to wait too long before the net was bulging.
It may not be the most eye-catching goal he’ll ever score but we’re ready to bet it certainly won’t be the last.
How do you see Ronaldo faring in Italian football this season?
