Victoria Beckham, wife of Manchester United legend David Beckham, donned a £590 purple and blue jumper in her latest Instagram post and West Ham fans jumped on the opportunity to suggest her allegiances laid in east London.
The 45-year-old prompted a slew of hilarious Instagram comments about her footie allegiance when she posted a snap of her in the knit.
It is part of her new Victoria Beckham collection and uses the exact colours worn by the East London team.
And others joked that the multi-millionairess had signed for Burnley or Aston Villa, who use similar colours.
The former Spice Girl turned designer sparked the debate when she posted a snap of herself in the jumper on her Instagram account.
She accompanied it with a caption about deciding whether to postpone her latest beauty collection due to Coronavirus.
She said: “As with all businesses at this time, at @VictoriaBeckhamBeauty we have been navigating our way around these difficult new circumstances.
“We thought for a long time about pausing our latest launch but we heard our beauty community when they asked us when the new silk eye brick we previewed at my February show was launching.
“And so we decided to push forward and are happy to say it's here today!”

But all fans could concentrate on was the hilarious choice of colours used on her jumper.
