Diego Maradona‘s son has been hospitalised after suffering complications from coronavirus.
Diego Armando Maradona Sinagra revealed earlier this month he had been forced to postpone his trip to Argentina so he could visit his soccer legend dad in hospital following his brain blood clot op.
Today it emerged the 34-year-old, born from his father’s extra-marital affair with a Italian model Cristiana Sinagra, was facing his own health crisis.
Maradona is being kept up-to-date with his progress.
Diego Jr’s condition is said to have improved in the last few hours but he remains in Cotugno Hospital in Naples.
According to Argentinian media, he was admitted to hospital on Thursday, 24 hours after his 60-year-old father left private Olivos Clinic on the outskirts of Buenos Aires to continue his recovery on a gated residential estate near to the home of daughter Gianinna.
Diego Jr revealed in an Instagram post on November 5 alongside a photo with his wife Nunzia Pennino: “Today the results of the swab my wife and I did came back.
