Tottenham are back in Europa League action on Thursday evening with a play-off tie against Maccabi Haifa and Sergio Reguilon could be on course to make his European debut.
Jose Mourinho did have the option to include him in his 25-man squad for the away trip to Shkendija.
However, he opted to name the same squad that took on Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the previous round as the left-back was not ready to return to action.
Europa League regulations allow clubs in the competition to add new eligible players to List A prior to a matchday in the qualifying phase and Mourinho has taken full advantage of that rule by adding the Spaniard to his list for the Maccabi Haifa fixture.
As Spurs are already at their limit for 25 players on List A it has meant that the head coach has had to remove one of his team.
According to the UEFA website, it is goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga who has not made the list for their crucial play-off game against Maccabi Haifa.
The goalkeeper has dropped down to third choice following the summer arrival of Joe Hart and Mourinho has decided that he has enough options in goal to do without the Argentine for Thursday's game.
