Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) have reacted to the news of Lionel Messi’s exit from Barcelona this summer.
The world football governing body uploaded an eight-minute video of Messi’s highlights on Twitter.
Under the clip was accompanied by the text: “Has one man ever done more for one club?
“Leo, what you did for Barça was utterly mind-blowing.”
The Argentine captain leaves the LaLiga giants after negotiations to sign a new five-year contract broke down last night.
Messi, who first joined Barcelona’s Academy in 2000, will now represent another team for the 2021/2022 season.
