Four Replacements Ready For Sacked Jose Mourinho At Spurs

Jose Mourinho was sacked by Tottenham chief Daniel Levy on Monday amid the club's poor form since the turn of the year.

Levy's decision to wield the axe is likely to see Ryan Mason take charge in a joint effort with Chris Powell until the end of the season.

But here are four managers that could be in line to fill the vacancy on a permanent basis.

Julian Nagelsmann

Spurs have long been linked with a move for RB Leipzig boss Nagelsmann's signature but could face stiff competition from the Bavarian giants, who are expected to lose Hansi Flick at the end of the season.

Brendan Rodgers

However, if Spurs decide to pursue the Northern Ireland native, they could be forced to part ways with a hefty compensation package as Rodgers is under contract at Leicester City until the summer of 2025.

Scott Parker

The former England international is also a ex-Spurs player, and there is a possibility that Parker could seek a move away from Craven Cottage if Fulham's relegation is confirmed, a development that could allow Levy to snap him up with ease.

Massimiliano Allegri

It remains to be seen whether Levy would decide to take the gamble, given Allegri's two-year absence from the touchline as well as the 53-year-old's playing style, which is also unlikely to win over the Spurs faithful, with the club said to be keen on building an attacking, front-foot philosophy.
