Frank Lampard Takes Side With Chelsea Fans On His Sack

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is under mounting pressure at Stamford Bridge, but Blues fans seem to be behind the head coach.

Fans are split over his future, with many believing it’s time for Chelsea to go in a new direction and hire a more experienced head coach.

But some clearly disagree, and have placed a new banner at Stamford Bridge to support the club legend.

The new banner reads: “In Frank we trust. Then. Now. Forever.”

Lampard was asked about the banner at his press conference on Friday.

He said: “Players will always make you a good or bad or in between manager.

“So you have to have a buy in from the dressing room.

“My opinion is football is whatever percent tactics but much bigger percentage of environment and drive and positivity and desire and all those things that create the basics of football so that’s important.

“In terms of the banner, I absolutely appreciate the fans that put together to create the banner.
