An interesting fixture is on the cards as Ghana's Black Queens and Guinea go toe-to-toe with each other on Tuesday. Can Guinea overturn a three-goal deficit today, or will it be business as usual for Ghana?

What's at stake for these teams?
We would like to start by pointing out that both teams are battling for a place in the Summer Olympics in Paris next year; and the winner of this two-legged tie will advance to the next qualifying round. Furthermore, there are a total of 12 teams at the Olympics, and two of those spots are reserved for the African continent.
What this means is that there will be four qualifying rounds, and the last two teams left standing will secure a place at the Olympic games. It may interest you to know that this is the second leg of this clash; and the Black Queens won the reverse fixture a few days ago by three unreplied goals. That said, whoever wins this two-legged tie will meet either Guinea-Bissau or Benin Republic in the second qualifying round. Without further ado, let's get right to our predictions for this match.

Prediction 1: Black Queens to win
We've already established that the Black Queens won the reverse fixture of this clash by a 3-0 score line. That wasn't particularly surprising considering they have been unstoppable in recent months. As a matter of fact, the Black Queens are coming into this match on the back of a five-match winning streak; this includes a comfortable 11-0 victory over Niger Republic in May.
In contrast, things have not gone swimmingly for Guinea lately; they are without a win in their last seven matches across all competitions, with a draw and six losses. Given that Ghana won the first leg comfortably on the road, winning at home shouldn't be a tough task. On that note, anything other than a comfortable victory for the Black Queens would be a surprise.
Prediction 2: One team to blank
We've already established that the Black Queens have been on fire these past few months. Their recent success has been partly due to their solid defense. It may interest you to know that Ghana did not concede a single goal in their last five matches.
Before Nora Hauptle took over the 🇬🇭 Black Queens, they had won just 2 of their last 5 games.

In contrast, Guinea have struggled to find the back of the net lately; they failed to score in five of their last six games across all competitions. It's worth mentioning that at least one team blanked in all of Ghana's last nine matches, five of Guinea's last six games too. Taking everything into account, we are fairly confident that one of these teams will keep a clean sheet.
Prediction 3: At least three goals
For our final Ghana vs Guinea prediction, let's explore the over/under goals market. Although the Black Queens have not conceded any goals in their last five matches, they've scored more than their fair share of goals in that stretch. In fact, Ghana registered a total of 21 goals in that five-game stretch, averaging just over four goals per game.
Despite their lack of goals, Guinea have also been involved in a few high-scoring matches; as five of their last eight games went above the 2.5 goal mark. All things considered, this will likely be a high-scoring affair.
