Manchester City will look at Real Betis's La Liga ace Giovani Lo Celso, with Pep Guardiola particularly keen.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Guardiola is enthusiastic in bringing Real Betis star Lo Celso to the Etihad Stadium and will use the forthcoming Copa America to scout the play-maker in action.
The 12-time Argentina international moved to Betis on a permanent deal from Paris Saint-Germain last April, having produced 16 goals for the club during the 2018/19 campaign on loan in La Liga.
But it is expected that the Andalucian outfit will cash in and make a tangible profit on Lo Celso over the summer.
The MEN claim that Spurs have tendered a bid of around £52 million but they will face rivalry from the Premier League champions.
The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona boss is reported to have made a ‘personal request’ for Lo Celso, who he believes could replace 33-year-old club legend David Silva.
