Iheanacho, Ndidi, Receive Powerful Support Ahead Of FA Cup Final

Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu has sent prayers to Leicester City’s pair, Wilfred Ndidi, and Kelechi Iheanacho, ahead of their clash with Chelsea in Saturday’s FA Cup final at Wembley.

The 33-year-old tweeted on Saturday saying: “Dear lord Jesus, I’m a fan of my brothers @Ndidi25 and @67Kelechi in their FA cup final today. Lord Jesus, may they win it for us all and for their family. AMEN.”

Ndidi and Iheanacho will be looking to join the choice seven-man list of Nigerian players who have won the FA title.

The players that have attained the feat include Daniel Amokachi, Celestine Babayaro, Nwankwo Kanu, John Utaka, Mikel Obi, Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses.

Brendan Rodgers will be counting on City’s highest goalscorer, Iheanacho, and a determined performance from defensive midfielder, Ndidi, to lift their first FA Cup title in what is their fifth final appearance at the competition.
