Jack Grealish has reacted when he found out he would be wearing the number 10 shirt for Manchester City.
The England international had finally completed a record-breaking £100 million move to Premier League champions City from boyhood club Aston Villa.
After months of speculation, the 25-year-old midfielder, who made 213 appearances for the Villains over eight seasons, signed a mammoth six-year deal at the Etihad worth a reported £300,000-a-week.
Shortly after the deal was announced, it was confirmed via the club's website that in the coming months, Grealish would sport the same number he wore at his former club: the No. 10 jersey.
He inherits the shirt from club legend Sergio Aguero, who famously wore the number between 2015 and 2021 before joining Barcelona.
So how did he react to the news?
Footage has since emerged of Grealish entering the dressing room before spotting his new number for the first time. “I didn't even know I was going to be number 10!” he beamed.
