Jadon Sancho’s Old Comments About Marcus Rashford Causes Agitations At Old Trafford

Manchester United are very keen on signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and have made the England international a top transfer priority this summer.

But there is an old comments the 20-year-old made about Marcus Rashford which has now sent United fans into a frenzy.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side remain in the race and some fans are clinging to the hope that a confirmation will happen before the transfer window shuts next month.

And they have been further encouraged by Sancho’s words on Rashford.

Sancho told Dortmund's YouTube channel in March 2019: “Luckily enough I’ve got great people around me to keep me grounded and humble.

“I’m grateful that I’ve got them around me telling me I’m not doing enough – there’s the likes of [Kylian] Mbappe doing crazy things at PSG.

“They are the kind of people I need to compete with as he’s so young and so am I.

“That always pushes me when I see Mbappe and Marcus Rashford doing well because I know they are probably looking at me and seeing what I’m doing and it’s probably pushing them.

“It’s good to see other young players doing well.”

United fans have been loving his mention of Rashford, with one saying: “Come to United, mate!

“You can see Rashford every day in training and learn from him!”

Another wrote: “The more I watch Sancho play, the more desperate I am in the hope that he signs for us, such a brilliant player.”
