Juventus Lineup Ex-Spurs Boss Pochettino To Replace Sacked Sarri

Juventus have fired Maurizio Sarri with Mauricio Pochettino lined up as a potential replacement.

The 61-year-old Sarri was given his marching orders the day after his side crashed out of the Champions League to Lyon.

Juve said: “Juventus Football Club announces that Maurizio Sarri has been relieved of his post as coach of the First Team.

“The club would like to thank the coach for having written a new page in Juventus' history with the victory of the ninth-consecutive championship, the culmination of a personal journey that led him to climb all the divisions of Italian football.”

And according to Sportitalia, the Old Lady want Poch to take over at the Allianz Stadium.

The former Tottenham boss is currently without a club following his sacking at White Hart Lane last November.

Reports state that Juventus have already made contact with the Argentine regarding the job.

Pochettino To Replace Sacked Sarri

Juve's president Andrea Agnelli's No1 choice to replace Sarri would be club legend Zinedine Zidane, who also crashed out of the Champions League on Friday night.

Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi's name has also been mentioned but with neither man expected to quit their current clubs this summer, the available Poch is the more likely option.
