Jurgen Klopp has provided fans with an update on Joe Gomez return timeframe to Liverpool after the defender underwent surgery this week.
Gomez suffered his injury against Burnley back in December.
Liverpool failed to give an indication as to when Gomez could return to training which left a fair bit of confusion as to when he would be back.
Now, the Liverpool manager has revealed Gomez’s return timeframe.
When asked about Gomez in his press conference today, Klopp explained that he could return within the next four to six weeks.
Quoted again by the Mirror, Gomez admitted that it is a hard pill to swallow but it’s just part of football.

Gutted to have suffered a setback in my rehab which resulted in the successful op I had today. It hurts massively not to be able to contribute towards the team on the pitch especially at a time like this… I’m doing all I can physically to come back stronger. Let’s get behind the boys tonight ???
“Obviously being out for longer than we’d first hoped for is hard to swallow but it’s part and parcel of the industry,” Gomez explained.
“My only focus is getting back for Liverpool as soon as possible and I can promise the supporters I’ll be working hard every day to do that.”
