Paul Pogba has appealed to his agent Mino Raiola over his relationship with Manchester United chief Ed Woodward.
The two had seen tensions boil over in recent times, and has led to the club and Raiola locked in a frosty situation, with Pogba in the middle.
Strong rumours throughout the season had indicated that the 27-year-old was ready to ditch United in the summer for either Juventus or Real Madrid.
But recently, there have been small breakthroughs over a new contract for the France international.
His current deal expires in the summer of 2021, though there is an option to extend it by another year.
Talks over new terms looked impossible but the Mirror report that the ex-Juve ace intervened in the ongoing row to tell his agent to get negotiating.
It now appears possible that Pogba could tie himself down to Old Trafford in a remarkable U-turn.
