Leicester City Vs Aston Villa: Confirmed Teams Lineup Out

Leicester City Vs Aston Villa Confirmed Lineup

Aston Villa are finally back in action as they head to the East Midlands to take on Leicester City.

Villa’s 7-2 thrashing of Liverpool before the international break was one of the most stunning results in Premier League history.

Dean Smith’s side were good value for all three points too, much as they were in previous victories over Sheffield United and Fulham.

Leicester are also on nine points heading into this fixture, although they were comprehensively beaten by West Ham in their previous outing.

Brendan Rodgers will nonetheless be delighted with the way his side have begun the campaign, even if there are one or two concerns over their defensive stability.

On the plus side Leicester have scored 12 goals in their four games to date, a tally matched by Tottenham and Everton but bettered by no one.

Leicester XI (3-4-3): Schmeichel, Castagne, Evans, Fofana, Justin, Mendy, Praet, Tielemans, Perez, Barnes, Iheanacho

SUBS: Wes Morgan, James Maddison, Marc Albrighton, Danny Ward, Islam Slimani, Cengiz Ünder, Hamza Choudhury

Aston Villa XI (4-3-3): Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Mings, Targett, Douglas Luiz, McGinn, Trezeguet, Barkley, Grealish, Watkins

SUBS: Jed Steer, Conor Hourihane, Bertrand Traoré, Marvelous Nakamba, Anwar El Ghazi, Björn Engels
