Assistant manager Pep Lijnders has provided the latest injury news ahead of Liverpool's match against Mikel Arteta's Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.
The players include Jordan Henderson, Joel Matip and Kostas Tsimikas.
Jurgen Klopp's side face Arsenal for the second time in a week after defeating the Gunners in the Premier League on Monday.
Captain Henderson has missed Liverpool's last two games after coming off at half-time during the top flight away win against Chelsea earlier this month.
Tsimikas is still suffering from slight thigh problem which he suffered in the previous round at Lincoln City while Matip continues to be sidelined with a muscular problem.
Lijnders provided an update on all three players ahead of the League Cup fourth-round match.
“Jordan [Henderson], we will reevaluate on Friday after this game to see if he can be ready for Aston Villa, ‘’Lijnders said:.
“Joel [Matip] is the same as what I said last week, he will be ready [after] the international break and use the time to prepare the Everton game.
“We have Kostas, who after the Lincoln game had a thigh problem. We thought it would settle, it didn't, so he will need more time. He will not be involved on Thursday and also not on Sunday. “
Lijnders also gave an update on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's recovery from a knee injury.
