Liverpool Transfer News: Jurgen Klopp Could Commence Signing of Julian Brandt

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has taken his sights off what his side have started this season rather, he is fretting vividly about what might come next.

There's a whole lot to be enthusiastic about in terms of players already on the club's books who could be brought back from loan spells or out of the youth set-up to bolster the first-team squad.

If Klopp does come to a decision of needing to look beyond the famous Anfield gates to re-energize his team for next season, there is one name in particular which doesn't seem to want to go away and that’s Julian Brandt.

German Star, Julian Brandt

The German represents unfinished business for Klopp after the manager tried to sign him from Bayer Leverkusen in 2017.

It didn't work out too badly in the end – Mo Salah came in through the Anfield door instead – but perhaps two years later could be the perfect time for Klopp to strike once more and finally land the 22-year-old according to Bild and Kicker.

Adam Lallana's likely exit from the club is only likely to speed along any deal for Brandt.
