The Welsh international has become one of the most coveted young talents in British football over the last few months, catching the eye with his outstanding performances in the Championship under Graham Potter.
James missed out on a move to Leeds United in January when Swansea backed out of the deal at dine minute but joining the Premier League champions would certainly quell that disappointment.
According to the Sun, Manchester City are ready to spend £10 million on the 21-year-old, who shone as Pep Guardiola’s side barely beat the Swans 3-2 in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
James even earned comparisons to PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe when he showcased his amazing speed to score a spectacular individual goal against Brentford earlier in the year.

The same report adds that the Sky Blues will send James on loan to their sister club Girona if they win the race.
