Man United vs Chelsea

Manchester United welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford this afternoon, with their Champions League hopes hanging in the balance.

The Red Devils currently occupy sixth place in the Premier League table and trail fourth-placed Chelsea by three points.

Man United go into their crunch clash with the Blues having lost seven of their last nine matches, a run of form which has cranked up the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

United improved from their shoddy display at Everton against Man City in midweek but they were simply not good enough against their fierce rivals.

Solskjaer's men are desperate to stop the rot and keep their slim hopes of Champions League football alive.

Man Utd have won their last two Premier League home games against Chelsea – they’ve not beaten the Blues in three top-flight games in a row at Old Trafford since January 1957 under manager Matt Busby.

Man United vs Chelsea clash kicks off at 16:30 (GMT +1).
