Man Utd Confirm Addition Of These Four Players To Squad Ahead Of PSG Clash

Manchester United have included young goalkeeper Ondrej Mastny to their Champions League squad ahead of their opening Group H trip to Paris Saint-Germain.

Mastny is the most eye-catching name among the four homegrown players aged under 21 to be added to United's ‘B list' squad, with Mason Greenwood, Brandon Williams and Teden Mengi also included.

Mastny's promotion to the Champions League squad follows the omission of experienced goalkeeper Sergio Romero from United's ‘A list' squad.

The Argentina international is out of favour at Old Trafford after Dean Henderson's return from a loan spell at Sheffield United this summer.

Mastny is a Czech Republic Under-16 international who joined United from Jihlava in 2018 and has made four appearances for Neil Wood's Under-23s this season.

The 18-year-old joins Henderson, David de Gea and veteran Lee Grant as Solskjaer’s goalkeepers for the Champions League group stages.
