Paul Pogba has taken pleasure in a fan’s reply to his Instagram post where he liked a comment mocking Liverpool’s title chances.
The French international is presently away on international duty with his country and following the goalless draw with Germany, he posted a picture of himself flanking Kylian Mbappe on his page asking fans to caption it.
The Manchester United midfielder had thousands of replies to his request but it was one in particular about Liverpool which caught Pogba’s eye.
Kristinn_96 commented on the post with his suggestion: “Mbappe: I think Liverpool will win the league this year. Pogba: WTF was in his wine?”
The 25-year-old liked the comment along with 93 other Instagram users and United fans were swift to see Pogba’s Instagram activity.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are at present unbeaten in the league and sit six points ahead of Manchester who have already lost two matches this season. But the World Cup winner can clearly see the funny side of early talks they will win the league.
Pogba’s Instagram activity came following comments from the midfielder over his United future.
There has been loads of speculation about his future in the past few weeks and the Frenchman added fuel to the fire when he was interviewed by Sky Sports Germany why he didn’t move to Barca in the summer.
“My future is currently in Manchester, I still have a contract, I’m playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months,” Pogba said.
