Marcus Rashford Gives Strong Hint On Dumping Manchester United

Louis van Gaal has predicted Marcus Rashford could end up leaving Manchester United in the future.

The Dutch legend gave the then 18-year-old his debut against Danish side Midtjylland in February 2016 after Anthony Martial was injured in the pre-match warm-up.

He's not stopped scoring since – but Van Gaal doesn't think Rashford will be an Old Trafford ‘lifer' like Ryan Giggs or Paul Scholes.

“I admire him for being such an honest and pure guy. He comes from an area where things are tough,” said the Dutchman.

“And the way he is fighting for less privileged kids is wonderful. He does a lot of stuff for the community. He is a great lad.

“I enjoyed listening to him when he said he hopes to play at United for a long, long time.

“But I listened carefully. And he did not say he would never play for another club.’’
