With Mario Balotelli there is never a dull moment as he has been involved in some hilarious incidents over the years at clubs such as Man City, Liverpool, and Inter Milan.
In this particular instance, Balotelli was unable to recognise his Liverpool teammate Joe Allen while they shared a lift to training.
According to The Athletic, the eccentric Italian failed to notice Wales international Allen one day after catching a lift to Melwood.
The forward, who lost his driving licence in 2015, was so often late for training that Liverpool players used to give him lifts.
On this particular occasion though Allen was also hitching a ride from an unnamed teammate.
Allen sat in the backseat, but despite seeing each other almost every day and playing together for months, the Italian didn’t recognise him.

Balotelli’s smoking habit also shocked his team-mates and the attacker would ask to be dropped at the nearest petrol station on the way home from training so he could buy cigarettes.
