With fans still digesting the revelations by Victor Osimhen on the Obi One podcast, fans are already salivating at the thought of a top former footballer on the show.

Mikel Obi went on social media platform X to confirm that former Chelsea teammate Florent Malouda would be his next guest on the show.

The two players were part of the Chelsea team that won the UEFA Champions League in 2012.

Florent Maloda was also teammates with midfield legend Zinedine Zidane as they finished runners-up in the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

It promises to be an exciting episode as fans would want to know some of the behind-the-scenes of the Chelsea team with Jose Mourinho and the rumbles in the Les Bleus team of 2006.

Top of the bill to be discussed would be Zizou's headbutt on Marco Materazzi in the final against Italy.

Why has Mikel Obi been getting this much traction with his podcast? The former Super Eagles captain has had some interesting guests on his show.

He opened the podcast in episode one with an interview of his former Chelsea captain, John Terry. It was a revealing episode and a solid way to announce his arrival on the scene.

If John Terry on the show wasn't enough, he brought another Chelsea midfielder, Frank Lampard, on the scene.

In that episode, Frank spoke about how Chelsea passed on Jude Bellingham, who could have arrived at Stamford Bridge for £20 million and described it as a massive miss.

Mikel Obi followed it up with Victor Osimhen, who revealed several behind-the-scenes issues in his family.

Florent Malouda is the next in line for Mikel Obi in what promises to be another banger.
