MLS Goalkeeper Philip Ejimadu Set To Play For Super Eagles

It's surprising to know that Nigeria has a goalkeeper in the Major League Soccer (MLS) and that person is no other than Philip Ejimadu.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper plies his trade for the Los Angeles FC and he has recently expressed readiness to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, that’s according to SCORENigeria.

The highly-rated Ejimadu is not only eligible to play for Nigeria, but he can also put on his gloves for the USA as well as Brazil where his mother is from.

“I love Nigeria; it is a great country and I'll be happy if I am contacted to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria,” he told SCORENigeria.

“I am also eligible to play for America and Brazil. I was called up to play for the USA U-20, but playing for the Super Eagles of Nigeria is what will see my dream come true.

“I am eager to represent Nigeria if I get a call-up from the current Eagles' coach.

“I will give my all and try not to disappoint once the opportunity comes knocking.”
