Mohammed Kudus is close to a West Ham United move for €45 million which will make him the second most expensive Ghanaian player in history.
He is a versatile player with the skills to play everywhere in midfield and as a centre forward or supporting striker. His best role is as an attacking midfielder because it is from there that he produces most of his brilliant moments.
It is also from this role that most of his 45 career goals as a professional football player to date have come.

Mohammed Kudus vs VVV-Venlo – 13 May 2021; Eredivisie
As the world recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic and football stadiums were slowly returning to full capacity, newly crowned 2020/21 season champions Ajax were in action against VVV-Venlo.
Mohamed Kudus had just signed for Ajax that season and was still making his name in the club. He started and finished a brilliant move which helped Ajax win the match 3-1.

Scoring a beautiful goal in a match that you lose is a feeling many players do not like to have. Mohammed Kudus felt this when Ajax lost to PSV Eindhoven in the 2022 Johan Cruyff Shield (Dutch Super Cup) game to mark the beginning of the 2022/23 season.
Ajax went ahead but by the time Kudus scored this beautiful goal, they were down by four goals to 2. Kudus struck to reduce the deficit to one goal but PSV would score a fifth to win the trophy.

Scoring your debut goal in the UEFA Champions League is always a special feeling but when you score like Mohammed Kudus, you feel like the best in the world.
Ajax faced Glasgow Rangers for their first game of the 2022/23 Champions League. The match, played at the Johan Cruijff Arena, was a whitewashing of the Scottish side but it was Kudus’ goal that stood out on the night. The attacking midfielder began a solo run from just after the halfway line and drove the ball all the way to the left of the attack.
He unleashed an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box which was Ajax’s third goal of the night and his first-ever Champions League goal.

Mohammed Kudus vs SBV Excelsior – 30 January 2023
Mohammed Kudus has held the attention of the world for the better part of two seasons but the 2022/23 season has been his best so far.
This is the season that made him grab the attention of the likes of Barcelona, clubs in France and Germany, as well as a number of Premier League clubs just before West Ham finalised a deal for his signing with Ajax.
This goal he scored for the Eredivisie giants while playing as a right winger was especially special.
