Super Falcons coach Randy Waldrum has not received a salary from his employers, the Nigeria Football Federation [NFF].
The American was in October 5, 2020 contracted by the NFF, barely three years after turning down the role, and it has emerged that the NFF has not paid him after being in office for more than half a year.
BBC reporter, Osasu Obayiuwana, who disclosed this on Monday, said that unnamed official of the NFF divulge the information to him.
“And there’s more,” he tweeted “@RWSuperFalcons @CoachWaldrum, the coach of @NGSuper_Falcons, has not been paid a wage since he was appointed in October 2020, according to an informed @thenff official,” the former member of NFF Reform committee said.
Meanwhile, the men counterpart, Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr was also recently reportedly owed by the NFF.
When contacted for his views, the General Secretary of the NFF, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi referred Bestchoicesports correspondent to the federation’s Technical Director, Mr. Augustine Eguaveon.
However, calls put across to the Director’s mobile phone number were unanswered just as an SMS inquiry sent to the same number was not responded to at the time of filing this report.
