Nigeria would be aiming to return to winning ways when they take on Tunisia in their next international friendly having lost 1-0 to reigning African champions Algeria in their last outing.
Ramy Bensebaini’s sixth-minute strike handed the North Africans victory as coach Djamel Belmadi made it two wins from two against Gernot Rohr’s men.
The three-time African kings defeated Tunisia 1-0 the last time both teams met in the third-place play-off of 2019 Africa Cup of Nations staged in Cairo, courtesy of Odion Ighalo’s third-minute effort.
The entire Nigeria national team will be tested for the coronavirus today for the second time in a week ahead of their international friendly with Tunisia tomorrow, according to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Rohr and his men had earlier done tests and given a clean bill of health last week before their 1-0 loss to African Champions Algeria on Friday.
The Super Eagles manager also has promised to present a better team than the one that lost to Algeria on Friday when Nigeria takes on Tunisia tomorrow.
The loss in Austria generated lots of criticism from Nigerians, who have started questioning Rohr's capacity to give the country the national team of its dream.
Some critics have even started calling for Rohr’s sack, saying he has not shown that he has the capacity to lead the Eagles to greatness.
