Nigeria’s Leke James Set To Take Over Ighalo’s Shirt

Nigerian Forward Leke James has maintained an impressive run at his club Molde FK in Norway as the second-leading scorer in the top-flight league.

The 26-year-old is still rolling back the years after he scored his 16th goal for the season for table-topping Molde just before the FIFA window.

The club is currently topping the table with 53 points, five points above second-placed Bodo/Glimt.

Amidst his exploits, the experienced striker said one of his greatest accomplishments would be to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

“It’s something I have always hoped for, I believe with the experience I have been able  to gather over the years, there is a lot I can offer to the team.”

“The Super Eagles is one of the best teams in the world. I say this because Nigeria has an abundance of talent that if properly harnessed can surpass any team in the world.

“We have a lot of creative and outstanding players all over the world. I believe if we are given the opportunity we can make a difference,” he said.
