October Friendlies: One Of Rohr’s New S’Eagles Invitee Has Been Revealed

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has said he will be calling up a couple of fresh legs when Nigeria plays two scheduled friendlies next month.

According to SCORENigeria, one of the likely invitees will be FC Porto new signing Zaidu Sanusi for next month’s friendlies against Cote d’Ivoire and Tunisia.

The pacy left-back will be one of several uncapped players to be invited for the friendlies to be staged in Austria as Rohr tries to bring new energy to his team.

Zaidu, 23, will be expected to give Germany-based Jamilu Collins a fierce competition for the Eagles leftback position.

“Zaidu will be called up for the Super Eagles friendlies,” an official disclosed.

“The coach sees him as a great addition to the team.”
