October Friendlies: Rohr To Name Replacement For Wilfred Ndidi

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has pulled out of the friendlies against Côte d'Ivoire and Tunisia due to injury.

The 23-year-old copped the injury in Leicester City’s league win against Burley on Sunday.

Ndidi will not be featuring in Wednesday’s (today) Carabao Cup clash against Arsenal at the King Power Stadium.

Head coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr will be expected to name a replacement for the Foxes’ midfielder ahead of the games.

Granada of Spain midfielder Ramon Azeez, who happens to be the only midfielder included on the standby list by Rohr could just step in for the former Genk of Belgium star.

Nigeria take on the Elephants and Carthage Eagles on October 9 and 13 respectively in Austria.
