Edinson Cavani joined Manchester United on transfer deadline night as a free agent after ending his seven-year spell with Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
And Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that the Uruguay striker will bring energy, power, leadership, great mentality to the Red Devils squad as well as goals.
The club’s new signing penned a one-year contract with an option for a further year.
Reacting to the development, Solskjaer told Man United’s official website: “Edinson is an experienced ultimate professional who always gives everything for his team.
“His goalscoring record for club and country is fantastic, and we are delighted to sign a player of his calibre.
“He’ll bring energy, power, leadership and a great mentality to the squad but, most importantly, he’ll bring goals.
