Mauricio Pochettino has named his three favourite Premier League players outside of the Tottenham squad.
The Argentine boss named Manchester City duo De Bruyne and Aguero, as well as Liverpool’s Firmino.
De Bruyne has been one of the best players in the PL this season with eight goals and 16 assists in 26 games for the Citizens.
Aguero, too, has been sublime this campaign and is the league’s joint-third top scorer with 16 goals.
And clearly Pochettino is a fan, as he told Sky Sports that the Belgian is one of his favourite three players in the league.
“[Kevin] De Bruyne, one. [Sergio] Aguero. Another?” the Argentine said.
“De Bruyne is going to be unfair, I don’t know what I can tell you, [Roberto] Firmino, maybe? Yes.
“But there are hundreds of players I can describe.”
Pochettino has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League this summer, with Newcastle reportedly interested in making him their new coach.
