A Premier League footballer has been accused of taking part in a gang rape at a lockdown party, according to The Dailystar.
It comes just days after Chelsea player Callum Hudson-Odoi, 19, was accused of rape in an unrelated alleged incident.
The woman at the heart of the new complaint claims her drinks were spiked with drugs.
She also believes she may have been assaulted by “a number” of the star’s friends. The alleged incident came following a lockdown-busting party in a rented flat.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, complained to officers the day after the alleged attack.
She was interviewed by detectives and has been examined by forensic medical staff as well as by doctors.
Detectives have launched an investigation into the alleged incident. They would not comment on if the player had been interviewed yet.
A friend of the woman said her pal had no recollection of the night’s events.
She was said to have been offered drinks at the party but remembers having no more than two.
Pals said the woman was “acting strangely” and “out of character”.
When she awoke in the flat the next morning she was naked, with scratches on her legs. She claims the player was also naked in bed next to her.
She says that when she asked him what had happened he said they had had sex, and then left the room.
The friend said: “She could barely stand the night before, there is no way she was in any state to consent to sex.”
The woman claims the following day she received an anonymous call from someone who told her the player and his friends had spiked her drink.
She went to a police station and made the rape allegation.
The player is the second Premier League star in a week to face a rape allegation. It was reported England ace Hudson-Odoi was arrested on suspicion of rape following a separate alleged incident in the early hours of last Sunday.
Police and an ambulance were called to an address in west London following a report of a woman being unwell.
Hudson-Odoi was held overnight and freed on bail until next month. Officers have since returned to his apartment as part of an investigation.
