Round 7 of the exciting South African league will thrill fans with seven PSL fixtures this week.

The matches will be played between Tuesday 19th September, to Wednesday 20th September, 2023.

Ahead of this midweek's fixtures, it is worth mentioning that Orlando Pirates have played the least number of games in the league, four.

Teams like SuperSport United, Moroka Swallows, Sekhukhune United, TS Galaxy, Polokwane City and Cape TownSpurs have each played five games; while the rest of the teams have played six matches respectively.

Mamelodi Sundowns are still on top of the standings with 18 points from six wins; while Golden Arrows and SuperSport United joined Sundowns in the top three teams on the log with 11 and 10 points respectively.

The bottom three teams are Cape TownSpurs who are still without a win after five matches, followed by Richards Bay F.C. and Cape Town City who both have 5 and 6 points.

Stellenbosch vs Moroka Swallows

Stellenbosch will host Moroka Swallows at Danie Craven Stadium, Stellenbosch on Tuesday evening. Kick-off is set at 19:30 SAST.

Steve Barker's side will be looking to continue their winning streak over the visitors at their home turf and a winning streak that's possible to increase to four across all competitions.

A win for the Stellies will see them climb up to 4th on the table if other results go their way.

Richards Bay vs Chippa United

Sparks will fly at King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium in Durban with Richards Bay trading tackles with Chippa United on Tuesday evening.

Chippa United's last visit to Durban ended in a 2-3 loss for Richards Bay to extend their winless run against Siyabulela Gwambi's men to five games. Will Richards Bay finally pick a win or will it still be business as usual for the visitors?

Orlando Pirates vs Mamelodi Sundowns

All roads lead to Orlando Stadium in Soweto as Pirates lock horns with Masandawana on Wednesday. Kick off is set at 19:30 SAST.

Pirates will go into this clash on the back of a 1-0 loss to Jwaneng Galaxy in the CAFCL, while Sundowns are looking to string their seventh straight win of the PSL season having clinical put Bumamuru to the sword in their 4-0 outing in the CAFCL.

Jose Riveiro's men have lost their last three games against Rhulani Mokwena's side and will be eager to end their losing streak at home on Wednesday.

SuperSport United vs Kaizer Chiefs

SuperSport United will welcome Kaizer Chiefs to Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane in a Premier Soccer League fixture on Wednesday evening. The clash begins at 19:30 SAST.

This encounter will be a tough one for either side who have been doing well in recent games. A win for Molefi Ntseki's team will see them go up to 3rd in the league for the first time this season if AmaZulu drop points in their game.

On the other hand, SuperSport will consolidate their position amongst the top three with a win over Chiefs.

TS Galaxy vs Cape Town City

Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit will witness TS Galaxy battle Cape Town City in the PSL on Wednesday.

The visitors started the season strongly with two straight wins but they're now coming into this game on the worst possible form having lost all four of their last league fixtures ahead of this meeting with TS Galaxy.

Both teams are separated by one point, as such a win is what each team wants as they fight to remain in the league.

Royal AM vs Sekhukhune United

Sekhukhune United will be on the road to face Royal AM on Wednesday evening.

Fresh from a 3-1 win over St. Eloi Lupopo, the visitors have form and confidence on their side and haven't lost in their last five games across all competitions.

Although Royal AM picked a point off Chiefs in their last match and have gone unbeaten in their last three games, they expect a tough battle at home against Sekhukhune United. It'll be thrilling to see who comes out tops in this bout.
