What next for Ronaldo?
Having joined the Saudi Arabian club in January, 2023 from Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo ended the 2022/23 season fifth on the goal-scorers ranking in the Saudi Pro League despite joining the league mid-season.
Although Al-Nassr failed to win the league title as Al-Ittihad won their ninth league championship last season, Ronaldo will be eager to fight and win the league title this coming season, and will also be going for the top scorer award like he usually does in every league he has played in.
The Saudi Pro League will commence its 2023-24 season in August and has already seen a flurry of stars sign for various clubs in the league, who've followed Ronaldo's steps.
Players like Karim Benzema (Al-Ittihad), N'Golo Kante (Al-Ittihad), Roberto Firmino (Al Ahli), Hakim Ziyech (Al-Nassr), and Ruben Neves (Al Hilal) amongst others, have all joined.
The 2023/24 Saudi Pro League campaign promises to be a top season with all these players opting to play there.
