Super Eagles star, Sadiq Umar scored one and made up for Almeria's remaining two goals as the former LaLiga side smashed Real Sociedad B 3-1 in the second division of the Spanish LaLiga.
Sadiq Umar is now involved in twelve goals for his side this season with seven goals and five assists in the league this season.
Prior to Thursday's match, Almeria had only won one of their last two, drawing the remaining one. But the Rojiblancos La returned to winning was with thanks to Umar's heroics.
Almeria got the first goal as early as four minutes when the Nigerian international set up Jose Carlos Lazo for the first goal. But the visitors replied as early as possible through Jon Magunazelia Argoitia.
The score remained at 1-1 till the seventy-fifth minute and Sadiq Umar fired the hosts ahead to make it 2-1.
And in the eighty-eight minutes, the 24-year old registered his second assist and this time, it was for Alejandro Pozo.
With the win, Almeria are now atop the league table with 22 points, just a point above Eibar after matchday eleven.
