Super Eagles Midfielder Ndidi Injury Woes Take New Turn

As things stand now, Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi won’t only be missing the two international friendly matches against Desert Foxes of Algeria and Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.

The Leicester City midfielder is now certain to miss double header 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifying matches against Sierra Leone.

Ndidi has been out of action few weeks back following injury he sustained in the match involving his club and Burnley.

The Foxes have further confirmed that Ndidi will be out for approximately 10-12 weeks.

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr confirmed during press conference organised ahead of Algeria match that Ndidi will be unavailable for the qualifiers against Leone Stars of Sierra Leone.

The match day 3 and 4 of the AFCON qualifiers are slated for November with Nigeria hosting the first leg before traveling to Freetown for the return leg.
